If you’re not careful, your start realizing your friends are avoiding you because you bore them silly about being healthy. Articles on health just get on my nerves now because I can see them for what they are; designed to confuse the reader, contradicting what they say like clockwork. You never know what to believe a prime example was that about the benefits of soy which was heavily promoted one day then ridiculed the next for being responsible for food allergies, amongst others. I swear, all I want is to find the perfect diet, the perfect exercise routine, and the perfect lifestyle to keep myself as healthy as I can for as long as I possibly can.
The problem on the perfect lifestyle was worse for me because I just kept reading the contradictions. A prime example of these confusing contradictions is with coffee; chocolate and alcohol which we’re told were not good for you. It makes you wonder which way to turn because all these things which we have always enjoyed and have been told are bad for us are now, surprise, surprise, good for us as long as we don’t overdo them. I can see that very soon these same experts will tell us to forget everything they have told us about our cholesterol levels and to start consuming cake, fast foods and ice cream again.
All that has come from this as far as I am concerned is a general disbelief of anything these so called health gurus say and I’ll look after myself than you very much. So I have decided I can still read as many articles on health that I like but choose how much notice I should or should not take of them. At the very best, articles on health can give me some health tips that will help me figure out how to exercise, and how to eat right, but the rest is just me listening to my body. It all comes down to this; I need to do what feels right for me, so If I can do this, I can live a healthier, happier, and longer life.
